In June of 2005, the Green River Pentecostal Church had it's first foreign mission team. Under the leadership of our Missions Pastor, Rev. Eddie Whittemore the team traveled to Port - au - Prince, Haiti, for a ten day mission trip. Their days where filled with preaching the Gospel, distributing rice, medical ministry, painting a house, ministering at a orphanage and doing a VBS for about 100 children. These pictures cannot tell the whole story. Heaven only knows the impact that was made, both to the people they touched and by the people that touched the missions team.
